Can’t make it to classes or have a problem that you would like working on? Just got a puppy and can’t wait for classes to start? Why not have a private one-to-one session tailored to your needs?
I will come to your house or meet you at another location, depending on what your and your dog or puppy’s needs are.
I can offer private training sessions to get you and your dog through the essential “life skills” that all dogs need – loose-lead walking, great recall etc. Private lessons are £50 for the first session while I assess what is required and put in place the training. Follow-up sessions may be shorter and therefore cost less – each priced individually.
I can also offer advice for puppy owners on any issues you may be having such as toilet training, socialisation, and getting started with learning the basics to get you off on the right start (please see separate page on Puppy Visits).
I can also help with behavioural issues.
I will assess the problem and I will advise you how to deal with the issues that you are having with your dog.
For example, anxious dogs, resource guarding, separation anxiety, lunging at other dogs, fearful around strangers.
The first consultation is the longest as I assess the situation and put in place the training to address the issue. You will also get a report of what we covered and how it is to be tackled in an easy-to-follow format.
Follow-up sessions are shorter and priced accordingly. Each dog – and each issue – is different so there is no fixed amount of sessions you may require.
