Join us for an interactive Sporting Dog Strength & Conditioning Workshop designed for agility, hoopers and flyball dogs of all levels plus pet dogs to help keep them physically mobile.
This hands-on workshop combines veterinary physiotherapy and practical training exercises to help owners better understand how to support their dog’s performance, movement and long-term soundness.
During the session, veterinary physiotherapist Lana from Recharge Veterinary Physiotherapy will guide you through canine anatomy, biomechanics and the key muscle groups involved in sporting performance. We’ll explore common areas of weakness linked to injury risk, why strength and body awareness matter, and how targeted conditioning can help improve performance longevity.
You’ll then have the opportunity to put this into practice in the session with your own dog through a range of strengthening, balance and conditioning exercises, with support from experienced trainers throughout the session.
This workshop is suitable for all dogs looking to build strength, confidence and body awareness in a safe and supportive environment.
When: Saturday July 4th, 12.30pm to 2.30pm
Where: Scout Hut, Flux’s Lane, Epping, CM16 7PE.
